How to cancel your active membership

Sometimes you can be skeptical of joining a porn site because you don't know who is on the other end. You might fear being over charged and under delivered, or may have a fear of not being able to cancel on time. This guide will help you have a better porn membership experience by explaining how to cancel.

First off before you join the site, take note of the links on the join page. Oftentimes they will have the links right there on how to cancel or how to contact the billing departments if you wish to cancel. You should make a note of these.

Then after you join, you should receive an email confirmation. Keep this email! It is your proof that you joined and should you have any trouble canceling, the billing companies may need certain information from that email such as transaction numbers.

If you've come to a site where you cannot figure out the billing company or there are no links to cancel, look around for a "customer support" or "membership support" link where you can write in and get canceled that way. Normally these membership sites are not going to want to screw you over. If they have no means for you to easily cancel, then they will get several complaints to the billing company which will lead to chargebacks and they may even get their billing processing revoked. So it is their best interest to let you cancel your membership.

So be on the lookout for these things before you join any porn site. Also make sure if you are signing up to a trial access, that you cancel your membership before the trial period runs out. Otherwise they legally have the right to rebill you for a full monthly membership since the mistake was on your end.

If you come across a site that doesn't have any visible support or cancelation links even on the join page, be skeptical of it. Also PayPal does not allow processing for adult-themed sites. So if you come across a site taking PayPal, do not join it.

But 9 out of 10 times you're going to have good luck signing up to a site and then canceling if you have access to a contact email address or phone number to the billing department. They do not want to bring the wrath of Visa upon them if you cannot cancel!

So hopefully this has brought a better understanding of how to easily join porn sites and then not get ripped off. Happy Surfing!
